Dr. Malik is a neurologist. He accomplished his advanced training in neurophysiology at Emory University -School of Medicine in Atlanta, after completing his neurology residency at Tulane University - School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his internship in internal medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston, and achieved doctor of medicine degree from University of Texas Health Science Center - San Antonio. In Addition Dr. Malik has also been educated at University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston and University of Wisconsin.

Dr. Malik maintains medical licenses in the States of Georgia, Louisiana and Texas. He has been licensed by Texas Medical Board since 1992. Dr. Malik is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a member in good standing with American Academy of Neurology, American Medical Association, Texas Neurological Society and Texas Medical Association.
